Beth Ramsey enters her first year as Head Athletic Trainer at Independence Community College. Ramsey is responsible for the administration and supervision of the athletic training program for all intercollegiate athletics.  She began working in Pirate Athletics in August 2009. While at Southwestern Oklahoma State University Ramsey did clinical rotations  where she observed various settings related to athletic training.  She also serves as an ATC for Varsity Brands Cheerleading in Memphis, Tenn.  Ramsey started working as a student athletic trainer at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in Miami, Okla., where she worked with junior college sports.  She later moved on as a student athletic trainer at Southwestern Oklahoma State, where she worked with three different sports at the NCAA Division II school.
